I have seven distinct views of this lantern slide (one is a print).
Differences to the front: The publisher's title font on FJH 2 is smaller and captialized when compared with FJH 1 & 5 The slide title is hand written on FJH 5 & HPS 6 & 7 unlike the others There is a fancy dotted border around the glass image on FJH 2 & 4 FJH 1 & 5 are black and white images while FJH 2, 3, 4 & HPS 6 & 7 are hand colored FJH 1, 3, 4 & HPS 6 & 7 position of men (especially feet of man on left) and fishing poles different than FJH 2 & 5 HPS 6 & 7 publisher is Haynes Photo Studios (similar to 76) unlike FJH 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 which states F. J. Haynes Differences to the back: None Other remarks: Some tape with the number 45 can be seen on the back lower left corner of FJH 1 I have a postcard (HSCYP), a magic lantern slide (55), a photo (4157), a book (Y-SP), and a sterling spoon similar to FJH 1 & 3 I have two stereoviews (4596 & 4598), a paperweight (HSC), and a postcard (HSCYP [2]) similar to FJH 2 FJH 3 is a print I ordered from the George Eastman House lantern slide found here Look at magazine HW or book YNP-TWW for some unique artist's rendering of these two fishermen Some tape with the number 50 can be seen on the front lower right corner of FJH 4 Some tape with the letters P.C.C can be seen on the front upper left corner of FJH 5 Some tape with the number 39 can be seen on the front lower left corner of HPS 6 Some tape with the number 53 can be seen on the front lower left corner of HPS 7 |
