Yellowstone National Park - Fishing Cone

LANTERN SLIDE 76       [last updated 07-02-2011]

I have two distinct views of this lantern slide.

Differences to the front:
     Different view

Differences to the back:
     N/A

Other remarks:
The number 44 can be seen on the lower left corner of Haynes 76 - this slide was part of Series K
NPRC 76 states 'FOR NORTHERN PACIFIC RY. CO.' in purple and the railroad agent is somewhat visible on the other side
     I have a postcard (HSCYP), two magic lantern slides (55 & 65 [Type 1]), a photo (4157), a book (Y-SP), and a sterling spoon of Haynes 76
A magic lantern slide (65 [Type 2]) and stereoview (4596) are very similar to Haynes 76 but look carefully at the feet and fishing pole positions
Look at magazine HW or book YNP-TWW for some unique artist's rendering of these two fishermen on Haynes 76
Look at magazine TCIMM or SNIMFBAG for a snippet of NPRC 76
I'll try to get some digital pictures of these two slides to replace or accompany the scans which are way too dark
