Yellowstone National Park - Fishing Cone

POSTCARD A-6897       [last updated 02-23-2014]

I have seven distinct views of Postcard A-6897.

Differences to the front:
Clouds and skyline different between BB 1, SNC 1 & 2, SNC 3, CTC & BB 2, and BBP
Title font on CTC & BBP slightly smaller than BB 1 & 2 or SNC 1 & 2
Fisherman's hat is brown on SNC 1 & 2, grey on BB 1 & 2, CTC, and BBP
BBP similar to CTC except for additional text 'Reached via Union Pacific'

Differences to the back:
No similarities among the four publishers (BB, CTC, SNC, BBP)
BB 1 has a different publisher layout than BB 2 (left edge)
SNC 1 has a different publisher layout than SNC 2 & 3 (left edge)
SNC 1 & 2 has extra text (C.T. PHOTOCHROM down middle divider) when compared with SNC 3

Earliest Postmark:
     Bloom Bros. [Type 1] - July 7, 1912
     CT Co. - February 8, 1911

Very similar to three postcards (R-31620, 8134, R-57481, & FC) and a McINTOSH magic lantern slide (CBM)
